2.4 (2) Celtic Cross

To learn more about shape builder tool and pathfinder tool I watched a lecture video and learned about the difference.

Shape builder tool is the most effective tool in most cases, but pathfinder tool has it’s strengts in some areas where the shape builder tool is weaker.

For this assignment I made a Celtic cross using shape builder tool in Adobe Illustrator.

«Celtic Cross» I clearly see that I should have got the shapes closer together to make the twist effect more clear. This one is too «loose».
«Celtic Cross 2» Thats why I made another one, and as you can see it looks more «tied up» and «thight» like it should. So this is my final product.

I then wanted to try to make something even more complicated to practise with the shape builder tool.

I am actually not sure if this one qualify as a Celtic Cross, however I got a lot of training with the Shape Builder Tool. I made this one out of my own creativity and ideas. This could also have been made more thight together.

Next for me now, is to finish my module assignment brief – MA02! I’m hoping to solve and post about it during sunday 💪
