After having coloring problems and working through my issues I finally delivered my assignment before deadline. I’m kind of happy about the result, even though it’s not perfect.
The illustration has it’s flaws, but this is my first delivery assignment and I think I learned a lot during the process, which is the whole point.
I really enjoyed the project because of the freedom of creativity. Just a few pointers and the rest was up to my creativity.
What i learned
I learned that I should think and plan more around the coloring part. Make a color palette for the project, rather than choosing colors randomly during my work. I learned that I also should use the forum a lot more for guidance and help from others. For future projects I will try to do even more research during the process, like finding more materials on different techniques.

Concept and end result
My interpretation of the Moodle learning platform as a methaphor is that the platform is like a «jungle» of information, or a forest. From there on my thought process took me to a confusing digital forest, where I, as a cow is wandering down the path to learn. Along the way the cow experience help from the forest animals, which represents classmates and teachers in the forum of the platform. Further on with my project I got problems with the coloring of the sky, which lead to me making a tornado. The tornado represents powerful change and challenges.

There are small details which represents different things of the learning platform, like all the buttons in the trees. Every button has a word from the learning platform. Unfortunatly, the words in the buttons do not show as good in the picture of the illustration, as it does IRL. The tornado has school supplies shooting out of it. The forest animals sitting around the trees, ready to help, represents the classmates and teachers. The cow has a MacBook sticking out of her backpack, which represents me – the student looking around.
My worries about the end result is that the illustration has too many focal points and that it looks hectic. At the end of the day I feel that I got my interpretation out and I’m happy about my learning during the process.
I made a process reel on my Instagram – check it out if you like!
