Hi! My name is Camilla and I’m 32 years old. I´m studying to be a graphic designer at Noroff. At this site I want to publish my work and show my learning curve with reflective journals. I have no experience with graphic design going in to this study and I hope to learn and evolve a lot in the next four years!

“Why do you want to study graphic design and become a graphic designer?”, you might ask.

Well, for a long time I have been a hobby artist, making acrylic pop art paintings and had fun with other art forms. My love for art started at an early age and has been a huge part of my life.

I have a degree in healthcare and have been working in hospital for many years, also taken higher professional degree in healthcare administration. After some time I felt like something was missing, and it was the passion that comes with art and being creative. So, I decided to throw all my cards in the air and start fresh.

I applied to Graphic Design at Noroff, and was lucky enough to get in. Now I can’t wait to start my next chapter as a student and learn.

For my first post and introduction I made a self portrait with Kamvas Huion, using the program Krita. This is my first time drawing digital and it was challenging, but really fun.

In addition to this WordPress blog I have made an instagram account where I publish pictures of all the work I do, it’s new so its not a lot happening there yet. But, please check in and follow me for more!

I hope to fill this site with reflective notes and a lot of exciting work, so stay tuned!
